Product Description
The Bold Favourite
The Manciolino sidesword is named after Maestro Antonio Manciolino from Bologna, who could have used similar specimens to learn and teach the Bolognese fencing style, preserved in his treatise Opera Nova per Imparare a Combattere & Schermire d’ogni forte Armi (before 1531). Thanks to the protection of the ports and a good balance between cut and thrust, the Manciolino is specifically designed for Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) and is an excellent pairing with our buckler, targa, parrying dagger or a cape.
