A Gentle Guardian
Achille Renaissance Targa is based on a careful comparison with the period square targets, so it behaves as close as possible to those. Renaissance Masters at Arms like Achille Marozzo, Giacomo di Grassi and Giovanni Antonio Lovino explain its use in their treatises. Its sinuous and functional curves and the central ridge give it a unique look. Some little scratches left from the working process don’t affect the quality of the product. Achille Targa is a sport version of the 16th century historical ones, simplified and designed specifically for Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA).
