Welcome to the new site!
Greetings and welcome to the first Malleus Martialis’ blog!
Five years ago, our idea took shape in a little workshop in Florence, Italy.
Over these five years, Malleus Martialis swords traveled in many countries all over the world, receiving excellent feedbacks and allowing us to improve and invest in research and equipment. Of course, as someone said it’s (still) a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll!
Today, we are proud to present you our brand new website.
The Malleus Martialis site aims to be a virtual portfolio with all our notable works and a news & edu blog, connecting customers and amateurs to our world.
In our blog, besides news and events, we plan to provide unique perspectives from within Malleus Martialis, ranging from the design behind our swords to the creation process, adventures we live thanks to our job, anecdotes, tips and tricks and so on!
We sincerely hope that you will find the Malleus Martialis website useful and easy to surf, and we encourage you to send us suggestions for new topics. Remember that you can also connect with us on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Tumblr, or write us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org for inquiries and orders and to email@example.com for all the promotional matters.
From the very beginning, we always had a motto in mind, left by the glorious Leonardo da Vinci, that is:
“Sì come il ferro s’arrugginisce sanza esercizio, e l’acqua si putrefà, o nel freddo s’addiaccia, così lo ’ngegno sanza esercizio si guasta.”
whose translation could be:
“ Just like iron gets rusty and water putrefies, or by cold it freezes, so the talent is ruined without practice.”
This is the idea behind our job, our smithy, and our dream, side by side with our beloved cat, Commander Sampo.
For those who are curious or would like to know more about us, read our story here.
Thanks for your support,
without which, there could be no Malleus Martialis.
It’s a kind of magic, handcrafted in Italy.
Keep following our adventure.
